“How do I create an account?”


You can create an account by clicking on the “Register” icon on the top left-hand side of every page. Fill in the required information fields including your personal details and address, select a password, follow the prompts, and voila! You can now start shopping!

“How do I place an order?”


Begin by selecting a category that appeals to you and browsing the products within that category. Once you select a specific product, you will be taken to that product's information page where you will find a more detailed description. Select the quantity and "add to your cart". This product will then be added to your Shopping Cart, which allows you to check and modify your order before proceeding with payment. Once you are satisfied with the contents of your cart, you can click on ‘Checkout’ and finalise your order.


"How long does delivery take?"


We will do our very best to deliver on your preferred date and time. Depending on the destination, deliveries by courier can take between 2-3 working days and deliveries by postal service can take between 5-6 working days. Next-day delivery can be arranged for orders that are received before 11am (SA time), provided they are to one of the following areas: Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Durban, Bloemfontein, Port Elizabeth, East London or George.

"How do I track my order?"


You will be issued with a tracking number which can be used to track your parcel via our courier's website. You are also welcome to contact our customer care staff who will help you track your order.


“What do you do if the recipient is not at home when you try to deliver?”


If delivery was unsuccessful, our courier will attempt to phone the recipient and arrange for a convenient delivery time. Alternatively, we can send the order by postal services and the recipient will then be notified to collect the parcel at a convenient time. Because we only deliver between Monday and Friday, it may also be convenient to arrange for delivery to the recipient's work address.


"How do I return an item?"

“I live overseas, but I would like to send a gift to someone in South Africa. Is this possible?"


Definitely! Many of our clients are from overseas and are able to make purchases with their international credit card. The gift/s will be sent to the stipulated South African address.


"Is there a Ditsy branch in Johannesburg or Cape Town?"


No, Ditsy's one and only home base is in Port Elizabeth. However, we are able to deliver nationally within South Africa.
